Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Sister Rebekah Pauliene Finch
Guatamela Quetzaltenango Mission
POB 30150
Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0150

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

Elder Finch: October 1st and 2nd Letter

10/01/09

Dear Family,

General Conference is coming up. I am very excited to hear the word of God. About 80% of my awake time consists of studying the gospel in either Spanish or English, so I am even more excited for General Conference than ever.

Today I spent some time in the referral center (that is where people call in response to church advertisements.) What the missionaries do in the referral center is 1. Take the calls from people wanting free church books or movies. 2. Call people who ordered stuff to make sure they got it, see if they want anything else, and see if they want us to send representatives (missionaries) to their house. 3. Online chat with people, normally investigators. Doing this was a lot of fun, even though I only got answering machines.

Surprisingly during gym, you can play 4 square. I love doing this. Today was the new missionaries (from yesterday) 's first gym.

Today I went to the referral center again. I talked with this girl named Melissa on the online chat for half an hour. She is getting baptized tomorrow. She told me she was starting to doubt, but I bore my testimony with her and she seemed more excited and confident at the end of the chat.

The Gospel is true.

-Elder Finch

p.s. My companion says HI!
