A Storm, And a Doubt From Elder Finch March 29

Last night we got a call at 11:20. At first I was wondering, "who on earth is calling the Missionaries this late at night." It turned out to be Elder Urry (our zone leader, and my last companion.) He told us that he got a call from President telling him to tell us that our area was under a tornado watch. My companion heard this and freaked out. I was perfectly cool at first. I knew everything of what to do in a Tornado. Then I remembered that the Duplex we live in is way old. There is not a single room not connected to an outside wall or without windows. The house is practically held up by only a couple of 2by4s. For about an hour, we were counting the space between lightning and thunder. I’m pretty sure that we herd a tornado. It sounded far away. The storm started settling and my companion started calming down, so I went back to bed. Apparently shortly after that, Lightning started striking close to our apartment. My companion said I wouldn't wake back up. He was kept awake by the storm for two more hours.
Yesterday we got some less active members back to church to get their baby blessed. Hopefully they will keep on coming. The G family was at their Grandparents ranch, so they weren’t at church. We feel like they’re aren’t enough Hispanics in greenwood to keep us busy. I haven’t knocked a new door in three weeks. I feel the only reason we are in greenwood, is just to baptize the G family. Currently they are going through a pretty hard doubt. The have trouble understanding church even with the translations. They like the second hour, because that class is in Spanish. We started a Gospel Principles class just for them. They are excited for general conference, but they don't want to be baptized till they can understand what’s happening at church. They understand the importance of Baptism, but they’re afraid they will be baptized, and stop going. They don't want to be baptized into apostasy. I still think they will continue to progress, we will get past this doubt somehow.
