(No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Rebekah Learns Spanish and Gets Her Flight Plans

Hello! How are you all?

Why haven't my siblings mailed me letters? I miss hearing from you all!!! And....guess what I got in the mail today? FLIGHT PLANS!!! I officially leave on the 13th at 5:00 am. Cool huh?

Thank you so much for sending that package to Elder D. He hasn't gotten it yet, but I think he will tonight after dinner. We have the same box number because we're in the same district. He will appreciate it so much. Today when we got the mail after lunch, he looked really really sad. I asked if he was okay and he said it would just be nice to hear from his family. He's written them two letters and two e-mails and the only response was literally "glad you're okay." He was put into foster care at two years old and went from home to home until he was adopted at ten. He joined the church when he was 19. Now two years later he's on a mission. He's super optimistic and cheerful most of the time, but he's really sad at mail time. When he gets your package I wont be surprised if a few people cry, him included.

The MTC is going so well! I love it! The days feel forever long. Things just mesh together into one big blob. My district is still fantastic!

My teachers are so incredible! We have Hermana Whitlcock who served her mission in Spain a few years ago. She's a BYU student, super kind and patient and smart. Hermano Fernadez, who we only see twice a week. He's my favorite. He's very motivating and also very smart! He speaks 5 languages including Cambodian and Japanese and is studying Chemical Engineering at BYU. Our third teach whom we're with most of the time is Hermano Barrio. Guess where he's from...Collona Dublan! Cool huh? I was the only person in my district who knew what/where that is. (Thanks mom!) He's only been off his mission for three months. They're all really great and really inspiring.

Guess what I did my first Sunday here? Bore my testimony during Sacrament Meeting...in Spanish!!! You know that thing about being discouraged...it really is a great tool for bringing me closer to Heavenly Father. Spanish is hard because my district has had so much experience so the class is moving really really fast. We were taught by a district that's been here for six weeks the other day, all in Spanish, and I understood everything and was able to answer back in Spanish in almost everything, but it's so so hard and exhausting. It's only thanks to Heavenly Father that I can learn any of this. I know that He called me to serve Spanish speaking because He intends to help me learn Spanish if I will do my part. I kind of like the times when I feel super stressed and overwhelmed, because those are the times my prayers are most sincere and I feel like Heavenly Father is just right here.

Ahh! I'm about out of time. I'll try to write a letter later today, but we have a very busy schedule! Enjoy conference and Easter! I love you all so much and am praying for you all! I love being a missionary so much! It's the greatest privilege and blessing I could ask for! I love my name tag!

Good luck with work, school, house work, friends etc. Enjoy Mom's food, it's the best in the whole world! And enjoy Dad's wisdom and example! We couldn't be more blessed in our parents! ...and siblings! :)

Hermana Finch
