My new area is Spartanburg, and my companions are Elder Gooch, and Elder Villejo. Yes, I have two. This is Elder Villejo's last transfer, so he will go home soon. His Dad is from Chiwawa, so he speaks really good Spanish. I guess I'll get on to writing the longer letter.
Yesterday I saw Shaun Merrit. He came to South Carolina to perform at a BYU Culture Group Fireside. It was cool seeing someone I was friends with before the mission. I have two new companions. They are Elder Gooch, and Elder Villejo (Vy-ae-ho). I don't know my address yet, but I live on Fair Forrest rd, next to a "Cracker Barrel", in a large apartment complex. Hope that helps you find it.
My new area has a Spanish Branch. That means I will be going to church in Spanish again. I really like my new area. There are a lot of Hispanics here. On Saturday we contacted 50 Hispanics. We have been teaching a lot of lessons too now.
Our strongest investigators are thee children of one of the members. The member’s wife is not a member, and doesn’t really want her kids to be Baptized again, but the Father said he will talk to his wife about that.
Both of my companions like to wrestle. I wrestled with Elder Gooch the other day. He weighs 65 pounds more than me, and has experience, so it was hard. Elder Villejo said he is not wrestling again until after his mission, but he said he would be our judge. Apparently he was wrestling with someone several months ago, and broke their femur. That missionary had to go home until his leg heals. The leg braking wasn't completely my companions fault. The other elder picked him up, and stepped wrong and broke his leg. The doctors couldn’t believe that that was how he broke his leg. ( the femur is the strongest bone in the body.)
I am just about out of time. I love you guys, and am happy.
