I’ve really enjoyed this week. We have some great investigators right now.
Our activities are going well, we have one a week and are averaging about ten investigators per activity, in addition to less active ward members and the ever faithful ward members. They are all so great!
Clemente passed the Sacrament yesterday. Next week he will bless it. My heart was filled with joy as I pondered how last week we helped him receive the saving ordinance of baptism and this week he helped us receive the saving ordinance of the Sacrament. He has 100 percent attendance in 5 am Seminary so far and does everything he can to learn and grow in his testimony. He is saving up money to go to the Temple this month and do a proxy baptism for his Grandpa. He is excited to soon have another member of the church in his family, even if it’s on the other side of the veil. He is also preparing for his patriarchal blessing and looking forward to his mission. We had the Zone Leaders come down and go on splits with him this week. He is a great strength. His mother is one of the dearest people. His father doesn’t like the church and he and is very upset with Clemente for his decision to get baptized and consistent church attendance. Clemente is afraid and sad that his father is making things so difficult, but he also seems to feel very closely the presence of his Heavenly Father.
It was so great to hear all the news from everyone. I really liked hearing about the receptions. It was easy t
o picture myself there. I feel like I get to live two lives right now, one here in Guatemala and one there at home via you all. Samuel, your talk was very good. I liked reading it. Michelle, I love you!
There is a waterfall in our area. We are hoping to be able to hike to it today. Yay! It will be my first time doing something different on P day.
There are transfers next week, and we expect some changes.
I love you all!! This week, I was happy and loved being a missionary all the time. (I think I am almost done with the anxiety.) It’s been a really good experience and now I LOVE being a missionary and feel so blessed to be here.
Love,

This is a picture of the little girl who we eat lunch with every day. Her family gets paid to prepare our mid-day meal every day. They are very sweet.
