To Write Rebekah

Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Sister Rebekah Pauliene Finch
Guatamela Quetzaltenango Mission
POB 30150
Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0150

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

Teaching in Spanish and English

This last couple weeks, we have been helping an Hispanic in our ward get ready for his mission. He's named Roberto. He was baptized a little more than a year ago. His parents still live in Mexico. Their non-members and are against his decision to be a missionary. I have been having a lot of fun helping him. I can see the desire in his eyes to go teach the Gospel. He says he wants to baptize his parents after his mission. He's an illegal immigrant, so it makes things kind of hard. I hope he decides to go back home to Mexico to put his papers in, because than he will have many more options. If he stays here before his mission, he will not be able to go to the MTC. He will probably be called to Georgia, or North Carolina, and he will be driven to his mission. He doesn’t want to go back to Mexico, but I think that that is just because he is afraid of the lack of support from his parents. If he goes home, he could get called to anywhere in the world.
Elder Bryant got a cortisone shot in his knee for his arthritis, so Elder Fulmer and I were working together all of last week again, while Elder Dunn and Bryant rested. It is fun being able to do English and Spanish work. There is not enough Spanish work to keep you busy, but Elder Fulmer is and English missionary, so we get to do both when we are together. I have been with Elder Fulmer more than my companion. I wish I could be with Elder Dunn more, but at the same time, Elder Fulmer is way cool.
I remember a while ago, Mom asked if I was getting good at riding my bike. I have figured out how to ride a bike with no hands or feet, also, on dirt roads I can drift a 180. Bikes are really fun. We found a parking lot with a 4 foot drop onto another parking lot. Next time we are going in that direction, we are going to hit it. I probably won't try any tricks, like 360 or stuff till after the mission, but just a straight drop seems like fun. I'll have to get a picture of me going off it.
I love you all.
Elder Finch
