Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Sister Rebekah Pauliene Finch

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

From Daniel, October 25

We got transfer calls last week. Elder Dunn is getting transferred. I am staying here. I am kind of nervous about who I am going to get. I am going to miss Elder Dunn a lot. Elder Dunn is packing today, and so is Elder Bryant, so Elder Fulmer and I might go play some tennis. I gave myself a haircut this morning. I am so happy that Elder Fulmer is staying.
I can't believe that Halloween is almost here. I still remember my last Halloween home. That was when Patrick, Jonathan, Rebekah, Lisa, and I dressed up as Meet the Robinsons characters. I can't believe that that was two years ago.
Last week we got a lot of people in the mission that are supposed to go to Brazil on their mission. They couldn't get their visas so they are going to be here till they can. They are learning Portuguese. It is really interesting hearing them talk. I can understand everything they say. It sounds like Spanish with rocks in their mouths.
This last week was one of our most successful weeks in this area. We didn't find anyone new, or get anyone to church, but I have felt that the people we are teaching right now are spiritually progressing a lot. We had two really good lessons yesterday. One was with Liliana, and the other was with Solidad. We have been teaching Liliana for a while now, but she hadn’t been reading the scriptures. We taught her a strong lesson. We told her that we were here to help her, but that we couldn't help her if she wasn't reading the Book of Mormon, going to church, and praying. After the lesson she fed us some empanadas, and tostada. While we were eating, she opened up her Book of Mormon, and started reading. A lot of the times she had been taking stuff lightly, so it made me happy to see her start reading, because it helped me to know she was taking us seriously.
Soledad Use to always tell us she didn't feel ready to get baptized whenever we tried extending a date, but yesterday we talked to her a long time about the purpose of baptism, Part way through she started tearing up a little and she told us that she really wanted to be baptized, but that she still didn't think she was ready. We told her that we were there to help her get ready. By the end of the lesson she accepted the date of November 27 as a goal for when she would be ready to get baptized.
I think the biggest part of the miracle was, I for a wile had been getting really discouraged. We hadn’t had much success for a long time and stuff was getting really hard, but then we finally were blessed with some success.
Now I am really happy today. I love all of you.
