To Write Rebekah

Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Sister Rebekah Pauliene Finch
Guatamela Quetzaltenango Mission
POB 30150
Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0150

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

Oficina De La Mision
Mision Guatemala Quetzaltenango
5 Calle 14-35 Zona 3

Rebekah in Guatemala Helps Daniel in South Carolina with a Contact

Yesterday Soledad came to church. She is so cool. We haven’t had an investigator come to church in a while. We already taught her the word of wisdom, and she committed to stop drinking Coffee and Tea. She needs to get married to her "boyfriend". But other than that, she is all ready to get baptized.
I got a package from Rebekah last week. It had a tie, and a planner cover made in Guatemala. Obviously, soon as I got the tie, I switched it with the tie I had on. Anyway, the next day, I had a strange prompting to wear that tie again. It is kind of weird to were the same tie twice as a missionary. Its equivalent to wearing the same church two days in a row, so I wasn't sure I wanted to. The spirit said, well, if you’re not going to wear it, at least keep it with you all day. So I put it in my pocket. About 15 minutes after we started proselyting, we ran in to a Hispanic. He didn't seem very interested, but he hesitantly told us where he lived. Then we asked him where he was from. He said Guatemala. I got excited and asked what part. He said "Quiche". I told him I had a sister in Quetzaltenango, and showed him the tie telling him my sister sent it to me. He said oh, I’ve seen that design before, it's from ( I don't remember the name of the place) I’ve been through there before. He got really excited too. I told him What Rebekah was doing down in Guatemala, and we talked a little bit. Before we left, he asked "Do you guys want my number" Of course we said yes. He told us he was looking forward to the next Friday (that was when set up an appointment to see him). This is one of the stories of the Lord working through Mysterious ways. Who know, he might get baptized now.
I love you all
Elder Finch.
