Hey everyone. I am really enjoying being back in Greenville. All the members are excited to see me back. Right now we are teaching someone named Ana. She is a referral from a member I helped to reactivate when I was here a little over a year ago. Ana is really cool. We tough her in the house of Ericka (the member) a couple times now. Ana is one of the most excited people I've seen about receiving the gospel. She told her husband about it and let him read in her Book of Mormon, which he has been doing almost daily. It seems like whenever you get sent to a new area, or get a new companion, you find a lot of people that need to, and have been waiting to hear from you. There are also a couple cool families that Elder Gooch and his last companion were teaching, that were still teaching. I love being in Greenville. There are so many more Hispanics here. I don't have to talk to the same people every week.
Last week I made three loaves of bread. They didn't last three days. I love homemade bread. Mine still is not as good as Mom's, but I like it. I'm going to buy more flour today so I can make more. It's funny, the West is so different than the south. The biggest flour and sugar bags you can find here are the 5 pound bags. That’s enough for about five loaves of bread. In Utah, you can buy 25 pound bags at regular grocery stores, and I'm sure even bigger at specialized shops.
They have South Carolina’s only mountain in my area. It is about 1500 feet above sea level. It looks like a foot hill. One of the young men in our ward is convinced that the only difference between the mountain here and the ones in the west is that trees go all the way of the ones here. He didn't want to believe me that the reason trees don't go all the way up the mountains in Utah is because the altitude is too high to support big trees. I find it funny. Sometimes people have trouble comprehending things they can't see.
I love you all.
