It was raining way hard earlier today. I can't stop thinking about Michigan now. It feels and looks a lot like Michigan here now. Everything is way green, and moist. Last Saturday we went to see the G family after three weeks of not seeing them. I felt nervous, so did my companion. We saw that both their cars were there. We knocked, waited... knocked again, waited more... and knock a third time. The third time we knocked the door slowly opened till their was barely a crack then quickly closed. We waited for about ten seconds. Both of us had felt inspired that it was time to come back and see them, so we didn't leave yet. After about ten seconds, the door did the same thing. Then again about five seconds later, and we herd B, the youngest say "Those guys are here". She opened the door again, but a little wider, and we could see her. She closed it again, and again said "Those guys are here." She then opened the door all the way, but kept herself behind the door so we couldn't see her. She kept the door opened like that for about half a minute. We couldn't see anyone else inside. Then she slammed the door closed. We waited, and waited. I felt inspired that we were not to leave yet. We waited for about minute more, and the door started slowly opening again. This time it was D. She is 17 years old. She seemed surprised to see us. I don't blame her. We talked for a little while. She told us no one else was home. She said that their grandma took them somewhere. After that, the spirit told us that we had done what we needed to do, so we said we would come back another day, and said good bye. We were only talking with her for three minutes, but the spirit was very strong while we were there. We were there for a total of 10 minutes because it took about 7 minutes for someone to finally talk to us. We probably won't see them again till Wednesday because they are pretty busy the other days of the week now.
Everything else has been going really well this week too, other than all the sweating. We are teaching quite a few cool people right now. Transfers are coming up, and I really don't want to get transferred. I hope to get the Gs and quite a few other people baptized before I leave Greenwood.
