To Write Rebekah

Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Sister Rebekah Pauliene Finch

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

The Joy Of Missionary Work

I love missionary work so much. The joy I can get from doing missionary work is something I wish I could share with everyone. Maybe you guys get some of that joy just having me out on my mission.
I have definitely seen both sides of the Battle between good and evil on my mission. Lately we have been working with someone named Gu. He is getting a really strong testimony of the Gospel. His family and Pastor both don't like him learning from us. They keep telling him lies about the church and stuff. Every time they tell him something, he prays to know if it is true, and also what he should do. He has great faith in our Heavenly Father. Last Saturday, Lucifer has been trying extra hard on him. Gustavo is seventeen right now, his Uncle told us that we can't come back to their house to teach Gu, and because he is a minor, I believe that means we can't come back to teach him. This was something hard, but I know that the Lord provides a way for all his commandments to be accomplished. I know that this will be the case with Gu. This may be a road block, but we will find a way around it. We just might have to wait until he is eighteen. He graduates this year, so that should be soon. Greenwood is such a small town, that we probably should be able to find Gu outside somewhere.
Also last Saturday, I got to shake hands with Elder Neil L. Anderson of the Quorum of the Twelve along with two of the seventy. We had a meeting with them that morning. There were less then 200 of us in the room, and they talked for about an hour and a half. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life.
I haven't had a problem with any of the new rules yet. Luckily Motab and Gospel talks are still on the plan. My companion has a couple from John Bytheway, and they are really cool.
I am excited to try and make bread, Cinnamon rolls, and maybe pizza today. I love you all so much.
Elder Finch.
