Today we moved from one apartment to the other. Elder and Sister Henrickson brought their trailer over and helped us move. We started at 10 this morning and just finished putting everything in the new apartment, not in place yet, at about 5:00. Moving apartments puts us further away from most of the Hispanics, but it puts the English Elders right in the middle of their area, so I guess it's for the better. Our new apartment is a pretty nice one.
Yesterday we did have someone at church. He just randomly showed up. His name is Alfredo. We had never seen him before. We set up an appointment to see him this Wednesday. We have not been able to see our investigator with a date again. We taught Liliana a quick short lesson last Monday. She was really busy cleaning wile we were teaching her, so we decided to wait until a time where we had more of her attention to put her on date.
Yesterday there was a fireside about missionary work for two stakes. President McConkie gave a talk, as well as a few recent converts. It was a great fireside, and I was able to see Elder McBeth there. It was cool to see an old companion again. I think he is going to be a good friend for life. He lives in San Diego California, but is thinking about going to BYU Provo after the mission. The Mission is a great place to find new friends.
I love the work, and can't believe that this week. It will be half way over. I go home 9-29-11. That is a Thursday.
I love you all very much.
Elder Finch.
