Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Sister Rebekah Pauliene Finch

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

Angel (Nov 15)

I love you too mom! Don't worry, the second half of the mission, I'm told by other the mothers here, is the fast half. Christmas is the half way mark. :)
Hermana McGaughy will be stopping by to say hello before you know it. (She get's home Christmas.) You'll have to make her some of that super yummy whole grain bread with all the sunflower seeds. I told her about it and she was excited to try it. You'll have to ask her about what kinds of weird things we cooked together in San Francisco and have her tell you all about Clemente and Yessica and Migdalia. I think you'll really enjoy having her stop by. :)
Everything is great right now. I'm super happy. I love my area and my companion. We didn't have changes. It's going to be fun to be with the same companion and in the same area for three months. I hope no one needs emergency changes so I can stay here. Sometimes I think I'm the pawn missionary, when someone's not happy, I seem to be used to switch them spots. But it's okay. I do really enjoy getting to know SO many people and SO many areas. I have been in more areas then the Hermanas that are going home and I'm not even half way there, kind of fun, huh?
A new stake is going to be formed here in January so there are a lot of missionaries in Xela right now. My zone is huge. There are 24 Elders and 4 Hermanas. My mission will have a lot of historical landmarks in it, a few including the formation of a new mission (Mission Retauhelo), the forming of a new stake, the diving of wards, and the new Temple of Quetzaltenango. I'm really lucky to be here in this mission in this time. :)
I have a little temptation for you. Maybe. In my mission, parents can come pick up their children. I don't know if that's a possibility at all, but just so you know, it's an option here. In a lot of missions it's not.
We have two investigators right now that I just love! Angel and his Mom, Veronica. They are doing so well. Angel has been to church twice and Varonica once. She loves it. She told me she feels very good in church. We do have a slight problem with her though, the law of chastity. She is half living with a guy who is also half living with another person. That's a tricky situation because marriage isn't likely. She'd a bit dependent on him. We are teaching her the law of chastity tomorrow, and I trust that Heavenly Father will work a miracle because I know she is one of Heavenly Father's chosen. She's going to be heart broken when she learns she can't get baptized until she lives the law of chastity.
Wow, times already up. E-mail went fast today. I love you all! Enjoy the snow! (Is there snow? Here, I'm still using sunblock!)
-Love, Rebekah
