To Write Rebekah
Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

Beans For Breakfast
Hello Family! Thank you so much for your e-mails. They are all so wonderful and heart warming. In five weeks I can e-mail you pictures (once I'm in the field.) So, the food (oh sorry, I haven't figured out how to make paragraphs on these different Spanish keyboards...) For breakfast, my favorite meal is black beans. YUMMY!!!! They usually serve it with eggs. There's vegtables and fruit with every meal. The flavor is significantly more enhanced in all the fruits and vegetables. I think the fruit is the best! Probably the best in the world! But I still easily prefer any of mom's meals to the best meal I've had here. Hers tastes better and is healthier. The contrast of this food to the Provo MTC food is great! They serve tortillas with every dinner and lunch (the tortillas are much like my 'pioneer bread' I used to make.) The natives here are great. We have a fun time learning to communicate with each other. Most of them don't know any English and we don't know much Spanish...but we are learning very quickely. Yesterday, for devotional, the area seventy came to speak with us. There is a translator for the North Amercans, but I decided to try listening without the headset. I was really surprised how well I understood their Spanish (Elder Clark and his wife.) The CCM (MTC) President is really wonderful! I have learned so much from him all ready. I really respect him and we get along well. Oh, my times about up. I am so well and so glad to be a missionary, to be an authorized representative of the Lord. I'm off to the Guatamala temple in just a bit, I'll tell you about it next week. Also, on Monday, we're going contacting in the Plaza, a.k.a. REAL missionary work with REAL Guatamalans. I'm really looking forward to this opportunity to invite people to Christ. I am so excited to share the gospel with the people here. There is nothing better than knowing that God loves you and knowing about the Plan of Salvation. I love you all. You are all individually in my prayer. Daniel, I'm so proud of you for serving a mission. It helps me often to know that you are out here doing your best as well. Keep up the good work! Love, Rebekah
