To Write Rebekah

Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Sister Rebekah Pauliene Finch
Guatamela Quetzaltenango Mission
POB 30150
Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0150

If you want to send something directly to the Mission Office, they can get it to her. (Cards, packages)

Oficina De La Mision
Mision Guatemala Quetzaltenango
5 Calle 14-35 Zona 3
Quetzaltenango
CA 09001

Yummy Bread (Nov 29)

I am happy right now. I have learned a lot of life lessons out here. I feel so blessed to be a Missionary, and to have a family that cares a lot about me. I should finally send that package off today with Rebekah’s present, and a small present for the family.
I love being a missionary. Soledad is progressing so much. It is interesting to watch the way the Lord works. Last week her Boyfriend, Hugo was pulled over and put in Jail for "driving without a license". He is probably getting deported. He is illegal. The only thing Soledad needed to be Baptized was to live the law of chastity, which meant either to stop living with Hugo or get married to him. They have two children. Hugo going to jail is actually a blessing, because now Soledad can get Baptized, and she committed to Marry him before living with him again, which will probably be in around a year in Mexico. She is supposed to get Baptized this Saturday. I am supper excited for this.
Christina came to church yesterday. We found out we need to get her married to. She lives with a part member family. She lives with her Boyfriend, and his Cousin (Maria)'s family, and Mom. Maria, and her husband are members. We have already talked to Her Boyfriend and he sounds like he wants to get married. So we might be getting both of them Married, and baptized soon.
Funny story. I was making cinnamon rolls the other day. I accidently put too much water in the dough, so I rolled them up, and was trying to cut them into cinnamon rolls to put them on the pan, but they were just mushing everywhere and getting messy. So I gave up and just threw all the rolled up cinnamon roll dough into a bread pan, and through it in the oven. It actually turned into a really yummy loaf of cinnamon swirl bread. All my room-mates thought I was the greatest baker ever. I thought the whole thing was really funny.
I am way excited for Thanks Giving, and for calling you guys on Christmas. I guess for Christmas, I would like, a knit hat, pictures, maybe some small toys like a rubix cube, a tie, a bottle or can of Verners (they don't sell it in the South), or whatever other thing you think I would like or that would remind me of home. I hope that list is long enough to give you an Idea of what to give me. I already have the present I'm giving the family, it is small and not supper amazing, so don’t expect much.
I am all out of time. I love you all. Happy Thanks Giving.
Elder Finch.
