Rebekah recieves all her mail through the pouch system. (Which basically means you send it to Salt Lake and they send it to the mission.) It is safer and more efficient that way. She would love to hear from you! You can only send a 1 page letter, folded in thirds and closed with 1 piece of tape. (No Envelope) Stamp and address the letter as you would an envelope and send it to:

Danile is Making a FHE Chart

Sorry I am getting on late, the library was closed for New Years, (apparently in South Carolina, the third is part of New Years. ha ha) so we went shopping and came back to our apartment so we could email first. We have a computer lab in our apartment complex with two computers. Elder Peterson and Elder De La Fuente went first, so Elder Benson and I stayed in the apartment, and I was working on making a FHE chart for the Careto family. The Chart is a little different than any chart we have made. I found a nice 12by12 piece of cork board with rounded corners at Wal-Mart, along with eight oversized tacks. So at the Top of the board I put, in construction paper, "Noche de Hogar", or FHE. Then I have the tacks holding up papers that say lesson, conducing, treat, stuff like that. The papers are actually glued, and the tacks are just put over them. Then I have Pieces of paper, glued to cereal box cardboard with their names on it. The cardboard has string glued to it that loops around the tacks, so every week you can move the Names to different tacks. I'll send a picture when it's done.
I think I am fine on materials right now. When one of the Spanish missionaries left this area, they left a Spanish FHE book, so I have two right now. I'm giving one to the Caretos today. I am glad to be teaching families about FHE. I loved having them at home and it feels good to get families here started on them.
